Comprehensive Benefits: Immediate enrollment in our group benefits plan, including health, dental, vision, disability insurance, and life insurance.RRSP Contribution Matching Program: Start shaping your future with immediate enrollment of Acden's matching program.Employee Perks: Enjoy discounts provided by Acden and Perkopolis.Training and Development: Access our fund program to enhance your skills.Community Engagement: Participate in Acden’s various community, family-oriented, and holiday events.Employee and Family Assistance Program: We care about your well-being.Work/Life Balance: Our flexible schedule allows you to maintain a healthy balance between work and life.What I will be doing?Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty on and off-road equipment.Accurately complete work orders and ensure billing aligns with Acden MRM standards.Work closely with the Lead Hand to manage service requests and ensure timely job completion.Train, support, and mentor apprentices.Maintain accurate documentation and records of all work performed.Ensure safe work practices are followed at all times and attend required safety meetings.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service truck and work areas.Manage inventory of parts and tools in the service truck.Follow ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 procedures, including reporting non-conformances.Participate in customer satisfaction efforts and quality assurance processes.Perform other duties as assigned.What does Acden need from me?Journeyperson Heavy Duty Technician certification (Red Seal or Alberta Trade Qualification).5 years' experience as a Field Service Technician working on heavy duty on & off-road equipment.Proven experience in diagnostics and repairs of heavy-duty equipment.Strong understanding of workplace safety and OH&S guidelines.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills.Physically fit to handle the demands of the job (e.g., lifting, bending, standing, climbing).Strong computer literacy, including diagnostic and reporting tools.Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract.Willingness to follow all Acden MRM policies, procedures, and ISO standards.Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.What are the "nice to haves"?Experience working in a dealership or third-party maintenance environment is preferred.Previous customer service or public-facing maintenance experience is preferred.Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Licence with Air Brakes is preferred.Familiarity with ISO 9001 and 14001 management systems is preferred.Previous experience working with Acden MRM or similar operations is an asset.Involvement in promoting or supporting customer satisfaction surveys is an asset.Acden is 100% community-owned by the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation.
