This role requires a special talent and passion for ensuring the culinary team delivers the highest of culinaryconsistently, andensuring that our food offering is at the center of our guest experience. Wage: $32.00-$34.00What you will do: Ensure our guests consistently receive the highest level of service excellence Follow production,portionand presentation standards Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment Assistin setting up plans and actions to control food waste Develop and mentor the team'Participatein the preparation of food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, as well as production,portion, and presentation standardsComplete miseenplace and set-up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not prepare beyond estimated needs Train, motivate, recommend discipline, and supervise the work of kitchen employees ensuring that all cultural and core standards are met Operate,maintainandproperly cleankitchen equipment, including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, andflat topgrill Date all food containers and rotate as per policies, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures Check pars for shift use,determinenecessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up Note any out-of-stock items orpossible shortagesReturn all food items not used todesignatedstorage areas, being sure to cover/date all perishables Assistin setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems Control food waste,lossand usage per policies What you bring:Culinary and supervisory experience within a luxury hotel A creative flair and bring yourpersonal touchand energy to all our food and beverage experiences Ability to provide guidance to others Culinary education is strongly preferred At least 2yearsculinary experience in a similar role.
