Watch this video if you want to learn more Come Work with Compass ELC:  About the role At Compass ELC you will work as a School Age Administrative Culture Lead within our Millbrook program alongside some of the most passionate, caring, and dedicated educators in the industry. We are looking for an individual with - years of experience working in a licensed Child Care Centre. You will spend your time engaging, connecting, and learning alongside children, families, community partners, and co-workers. You will support the administrative and licensing requirements within the program in support of the Operations, Human Relations, and Finance teams. You will model and grow a perspective of equity and strive for a deeper understanding of cultural awareness. This position will be hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role will be a split role with hours per day dedicated to admin accountabilites and hours per day supporting our school age team in ratio as an educator. You must have availability from am to pm, Monday to Friday. Hours and shift times will be determined to meet the needs of the program. Key Responsibilities Include Facilitate and participate in staff meetings. Support a culture of collaboration, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Planning and implementing play-based experiences based on children’s interests.  Administering payroll, billing, subsidy reconciliations, maintaining staff files, and coordinating staffing needs.  Administering the program budget in partnership with the finance team.  Following and supporting the Ministry Licensing and Reporting Guidelines Build and maintain relationships with children, families, staff, volunteers, students, community partners, and school staff. Supporting with ratio, supervsion, and care of children in the school age and kinder classrooms.  Ensure the safety and cleanliness of equipment, furniture, and materials. Welcome new team members, families, and children into the program. Strong disposition towards administration, organization, research, and inquiry. Comfortable with technology and learning new software processes. A clear understanding of CCEYA (Child Care Early Years Act), related legislation, and Compass ELC policies and procedures. Minimum of years of experience in the Early Learning Sector. - years of administration experience in a licensed child care centre.
