Provides home-based behaviour modifications and interventions tochildren up to 19 years old who are diagnosed with neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism, Asperger’s, and Tourette syndrome, ADHD, ODD, as well as other comorbid mental health disorders. Therole involves collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team, participation in functional behaviour assessments, planning effective behaviour intervention plans, and conducting analysis of behavioural datafor clients in the program.About You We would love to hear from you if you have the following: 2-year Child and Youth Diploma Program and one Behaviour Interventionist programor equivalent program required 2 years related previous experience required Demonstrated experience working with pre-school, school age and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders providing behavioural based interventions.Experience providing functional behavioural based assessments.Knowledge and ability to participate in the planning and implementation of behaviour management strategies.Ability to provide psychoeducation for problems commonly associated with neurodevelopmental disordersKnowledge of evidence-based standards and practices for behavioural intervention for children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders.Demonstrates professionalism in attitude, dress, and behaviour.Strong written and verbal communication skills Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred Please ensure your resume is up to date with all experience, certifications and education.HoursLong Assignment Full-Time Position; 75 hours biweekly Assignment Length Approximately 18 months, subject to changeTo start ASAPCompensation and Benefits$34.20 - $41.93 Hourly Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
