Description :Major Job FunctionsTroubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar and other mechanical equipment in a service oriented gas compression environmentInterface with customers, products and sales supportProviding support with reference to on-site safety requirementsMaintain Finning Customer Service CommitmentVarious related duties as required**Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement**Specific Skills & ExperienceJourneyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification (Red Seal is an asset)Minimum of 5 years’ experience repairing CAT equipmentStrong organizational, interpersonal and communication skillsCompletion, or in the process of completing all Finning S- level coursesSelf-motivated and computer literateExperience with Costwatcher, DBS, SIS and Warranty Systems as well as a good understanding of Finning systems, would all be assetsSuccessful candidate will need to be customer orientated and motivated to meet the customer's expectationsAbility to work safely with minimal supervisionImportant DetailsThis position will work a 7x7 ShiftA recent driver’s abstract is requiredPlease be advised, the successful candidate for this position will reside in (or around) Golden.Note: Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement.Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position.
