Our total compensation package offers job security, health, dental, EFAP, vision and life insurance. Base salary range for a Shop Hand in this role is $18-$20 per hour.

**The role**

**General Maintenance - 70% of your time is spent here**
- Perform basic building maintenance and minor repairs as directed
- Keeps shop area neat, clean and safe
- Inspect used oil container level
- Ensure adequate stock of shop items so they don’t run short

**Other Duties
- 30% and its important**
- Assist the sales department in cleaning and prepping new trucks for delivery
- Advise Shop Foreman or Service Manager of broken or damaged shop tools and equipment and the repairs required
- Clean wash bay, floors and walls
- Delivering parts to customers
- Empty garbage cans

**Education**
- Highschool Diploma (past or in-progress)
- Class 5 driving license required
- Possession of a valid class 3 driver’s license is an asset

**Experience**
- Experience in the industry or in a shop/automotive environment is preferred
- Must be able to work in a high pressure environment safely
- Must be able to present yourself in a positive, professional manner to colleagues and customers
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions
