Manager � Community and Resource DevelopmentGreater Saskatoon Catholic Schools (GSCS) is Saskatchewan's largest Catholic school division, serving approximately 23,000 students across 50 schools in Saskatoon, Biggar, Humboldt, Warman and Martensville. In collaboration with families and community partners, GSCS has developed a variety of programs to foster Indigenous student belonging, participation and success. This includes Cree and Michif Bilingual programming, a nationally recognized social pediatrics program, and numerous Indigenous learning and community development partnerships. We are committed to a full response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action and to partnership with First Nations and M�tis families and communities, engaging over 3,400 Indigenous students across the division. The Manager � Community and Resource Development works with Indigenous families and community partners to enhance First Nations and M�tis voice and participation, and to mobilize resources to support First Nations and M�tis partnerships and innovations.The successful candidate will possess the following:A Master's degree in community development, education, social work, wellness, or a related field.A minimum five years' experience in a leadership position.Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.Demonstrated experience enacting community development initiatives and models, and achieving results in community mobilization, wellness, and learning.Experience negotiating inter-organizational partnerships.Successful experience applying for funding grants and managing financial and human resources.Experience with Indigenous organizations, kinship systems and ways of knowing.Association with a Catholic faith community.Demonstrated Indigenous cultural competencies.
