Paul Penna Downtown Jewish Day School is seeking a part-time French Teacher to teach Grades 2 through 8, for the 2026-27 school year. This role is to fill a parental leave for our current teacher. The teaching load for this position will be at an FTE between .4 and .55 with a salary range of $35,300 - $52,000 per year (based on current year salary grid and subject to 2026-2027 increase). Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree Ontario College of Teachers Certification recommended Knowledge of and experience with the Ontario Curriculum Excellent classroom management skills Previous experience teaching French to elementary grades Qualified candidates are asked to send a resume and cover letter to rmarkus@djds.ca.
