French Teacher/Tutor – Oxford Learning Centres Inc. Must be available a minimum of two weeknights (Monday to Thursday) per week. Saturday availability is an asset. Oxford Learning Beaches has an opening for an upbeat, passionate, committed, enthusiastic, and dynamic French teacher who seeks work in a rewarding teaching environment. Our French programs offer individual support to students looking to improve their academic skills and study habits. Candidates must possess a strong passion for seeing students succeed and must be comfortable teaching students ranging in age from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in French. Tutor‑teachers at Oxford Learning do not have to lesson plan before class, as all lessons are pre‑planned. Applicants will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods. Position Requirements All Teacher‑Tutors at Oxford Learning work during longa after‑school and evening hours (3:00 pm – 8:00 pm) as well as some Saturdays (10:00 am – 3:00 pm). A commitment until the end of the term in June is preferred. Continuing through the summer is even better. Being reliable is a must. Education Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field Fourth‑year university students with Voraus tutoring experience will be considered Teaching certification is an asset Good knowledge of the current Grades 9‑12 French core curriculum Experience Some experience teaching/tutoring French at a Grade 9‑12 (or equivalent) level Strong English written and oral communication skills Strong French skills and ability to guide students’ understanding Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time Responsibilities (Position Details) Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels Teaching online and in polysol?
