Responsible for promoting the safety and security of staff and guests on the mountain, Ski Patrol are alert and dependable professionals focused on promoting safety with the ability to remain calm in a crisis when incidents arise. Job Specifications:Starting Wage: $32.11/hr - $42.76/hrEmployment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026Shift Type: Full Time hours availableMinimum Age: At least 18 years of ageHousing Availability: No Job Responsibilities:Maintain up to date knowledge of and enforce all applicable laws, policies, and procedures to ensure the safety of all guestsMaintain the safety and operation of trails through preventative procedures such as avalanche mitigation, tree and limb removal, and end of day sweeps of the mountain to ensure all guests have exited.Establish, coordinate, and execute emergency and hazard response plans such as evacuations and search and rescue protocolsAssist and provide care to injured guests and workers including transport via toboggan or air lift support when necessary.Facilitate training, mentorship, and support of patrol membersAssist patrol leadership in daily operations including but not limited to organizing and assigning responsibilities, incident investigations, and hiring activitiesManage, oversee and assign responsibilities to volunteersOther duties as assigned Job Requirements:High School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredEmergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) certification requiredValid driver’s license required5 years of previous patrol experience required; supervisory experience preferredMust be at least 21 years oldMust be able to communicate fluently in EnglishAbility to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekendsAbility to use all sensesAbility to lift and transport 50 to 100 pounds with or without assistanceAbility to frequently walk/stand, sit/climb, balance, stoop/kneel, crouch/crawl, and reach throughout the course of work in all climate conditions and at high elevations In completing this application, and when submitting related documentation, applicants may redact information that identifies their age, date of birth, and/or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.  We follow all federal, state, and local laws including restrictions on child/minor labor.
