Our new Montreal office, set in a vibrant coworking space, is a hub for creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning.Evolving Web is looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Representative to help us and develop our sales pipeline and build stronger client relationships. You’ll work together with leadership and our marketing team to improve our sales strategy. Our strengths include our deep community involvement, EvolveDigital (a well-attended industry event), and long track-record of working with impactful brands. Your role will be to build on these strengths into stronger sales results.In your role as Business Development Representative, you will be expected to: Manage our current sales pipeline and the development of new business opportunities.Create proposals and presentations for new business Collaborate closely with our account managers, our marketing team, and our industry partnersMonitor and evaluate industry trends and customer needs and surface these to account managers and the leadership team.Contribute to the success of our EvolveDigital event series and other marketing activities and align our sales strategy with these activitiesKeep an eye on industry trends, competitors, and new opportunities that align with our client needs and expertiseRequirementsWhat kind of skill set do you need to be successful in your role within the Evolving community? 5 + years of experience in a business development role at a digital services companyExperience managing a sales pipeline and understanding procurement processesStrong presentation skills and track record of building client relationshipsProficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgetingTechnical curiosity and ability to learn new systems and processes quicklyAbility to travel as needed to attend conferences and meet with clientsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBonus for: Public speaking experienceExperience selling to the US marketKnowledge of enterprise CMS products and servicesBenefitsBenefits and Perks We provide a well-rounded benefits package to support both your personal and professional well-being.
