Job overview The Director, ClientOnboarding (Asset Manager Solutions) is responsible for the successful completion of all New Client Onboardings. The role will also provide sales support to the Business Development & Relationship Management Team. The role will manage various Business Analysts and Program Managers assigned to the Onboarding Team. Overall, this position provides alignment regarding priorities, expectations, and timing of services and solutions to our clients.What you will doDefine the Onboarding methodologyEnsure direct reports are following defined processes and best practices, and provide input for continual improvement on business analysis methodology, processes and templatesOwn the Onboarding SharePoint site and publish site updates as requiredOwn the Onboarding Playbook and ensure that it is kept up-to-date; new tasks and artifacts are added as requiredProvide sales support to the Business Development & Relationship Management Team. This includes attending meetings, calls and providing overviews of the Onboarding process to perspective clientsProvide estimates and high-level schedules to Finance and the Business Development & Relationship Management Team to assist with pricing and scheduling discussionsProvide guidance/coaching to Business Analysts and Project Mangers working on Onboarding ProjectsProvide regular reporting to key stakeholdersPrepare large project initiatives and provide guidance to ensure clear and accurate work structure, estimates, and plans for BA/PM activitiesProvide input into business analysis/project management documentation standards and toolsActively assess risks, provide mitigation plan and escalate issues to managementEnsure high quality artifacts are being created by reviewing BA/PM artifacts and tracking related metrics Possess excellent understanding of the Project Management Life Cycle Demonstrate superior flexibility in the face of ambiguous situations, shifting demands and challenging work environmentsExpertise in evaluating feasibility or practicality of ideas and options, assess risks and trade-offs, and make informed and timely decisions Ability to allocate resources based on project prioritiesMaintain relationships with staffing agencies to facilitate the recruitment of contract Project Managers as requiredWork directly with SS&C onboarding team and establish priorities on behalf of IFDSPossess a good understanding of the regulatory bodies governing client product offering and industry’s best practices. For example: CLHIA, National Instrument, Federal/Provincial, FundSERV, IACC and IFICProvide estimates and schedules to the Europe State Street for prospective clientsExecute People Manager tasks as required What we requirePMI-PMP certificationExpert Mutual Fund/Transfer Agency knowledge Minimum of 10 years of experience in leadership rolesMinimum of university degree or equivalent qualificationsDemonstrate excellent time management, multi-task, self-direction, and prioritization skillsStrong Project Management skillsSuperior analytical and problem-solving skillsHave strong business and system analytical skills; ability to analyze and solve problemsExceptional ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and written Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills Ability to foster and build relationships to engage and influence Innovative: Seeks out innovative solutions and champions continuous improvementInitiative: Takes independent action and goes beyond what the job or situation requiresClient-focused as required to obtain business requirements and assist in implementationsAbility to organize workflow to accomplish multiple and changing priorities within specified timeframeResults-oriented: Strives to achieve high levels of individual and organizational performanceFlexible: Ability to quickly and easily adapt to changes within the business and organization Expert strength in presenting strategic initiatives to all levels of management, individually and in large group settingsExpertise in evaluating feasibility or practicality of ideas and options, assessing risks and trade-offs and making informed and timely decisionsBeneficial:IFIC Operations and Procedures course Financial industry certification (CSC/CFA)Working ConditionsApplicants must be flexible and adaptable to a Hybrid working model (remote & onsite).
