Your work will be highly visible, showcased in globally-delivered products and services.If you want to work for one of the most recognized brands in the world and one of the Top 100 Employers in Canada, then please keep readingWhat We Offer:• Hybrid work (Vancouver, BC)• Competitive Salary • RRSP Matching• Employer Paid Flexible Health Coverage (from day one)• Employee Purchase Program – discounts • Professional Development Opportunities • Free Onsite Gym, Showers and Bike Storage • Employee Referral Program – we want great talent like youRole and ResponsibilitiesWork together with global TPM team to manage large scale program that requires strong program management, risk management, and problem-solving skillsUnderstand the system’s functional and non‐functional requirements, plan and execute projects, ensure that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlinesIdentify problems and improvement opportunities in engineering practices, processes, and project organization, manage the change impact and communicate to stakeholders to get buy in of changes and enforce accepted changesManage issues, risks and escalations, and own the work to solve problems and remove blockersProvide visibility and transparency to project status, issues, schedule and manage project deliverablesAdopt Scrum methodology and Agile practices and conduct scrum meetings when necessarySkills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fieldMinimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or Technical Program Manager for software or system projects, preferably in complex multi-site working environmentA record of successful delivery of software applicationsStrong sense of ownership, urgency, and driveWell organized, good communication and reporting skillsExperience of working with remote teams to delivery software product togetherAbility to successfully work under tight project deadlinesExperience with cloud services SW developmentKnowledge of AWS services EC2, S3, RDS, Mongo etc.The salary range for this role is expected to be between $116,195 to $150,370and reflects base salary only. Actual pay will be determined based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience.Samsung is an equal employment opportunity employer.
