The purpose of this position involves the performance of routine and specialized ultrasound procedures in the Diagnostic Imaging Department ensuring proper application of ultrasound techniques and procedures.Travel to other sites may be required. About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following:Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound Sonography Canada certificationNova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure Current CPR CertificationComprehension of the technical language to be able to review and use manuals and take part in relevant discussionsPrevious experience is an assetRegistration with more than one ultrasound credential is an assetCompetencies in other languages an asset, French preferredPlease ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.HoursFull-time long assignment position; 75 hours biweekly Approximately 18 monthsCompensation and Benefits$38.74 - $47.50 hourly Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.Once You've AppliedThank you for your interest in this position.
