Senior Master Planner

Job DescriptionAs a Senior Master Planner & Scheduler at Vention…You will play a critical role in ensuring that production schedules, material availability, and capacity planning are aligned to support Vention’s operational goals. You’ll orchestrate the flow of work orders, coordinate across Supply Chain, Production, Procurement, and Engineering, and ensure that the right products are built at the right time. Your work will directly impact on-time delivery, production efficiency, and operational predictability.If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, excel at organizing complex information, and enjoy being at the centre of operational decision-making, this role will allow you to make a major impact.What You’ll DoPlanning and Scheduling•Build, manage, and maintain the master production schedule to align sales orders, forecasts, and operational capacityLead scheduling activities to balance customer demand with production and supply chain constraintsEstablish and enforce a cadence of daily, weekly, and monthly planning that holds Operations and Supply Chain accountable to fair but challenging goalsApply scheduling levers to optimize KPIs such as OTIF, next-day shipping, and average days to shipCustomer and Sales CoordinationAct as the scheduling and planning liaison for Sales and Customers, ensuring commitments are achievable and transparentCommunicate proactively on order status, lead times, and risks while maintaining trust with customersBalance commercial priorities with operational realities to protect both service levels and efficiencyOperations, Supply Chain, and Logistics AlignmentPartner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Logistics to ensure the schedule is executable and aligned with material availability and production capacityCoordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely and reliable outbound shipmentsSupport planning activities that improve OTIF and fulfillment performanceAutomation and Continuous ImprovementDrive automation and digitalization in planning processes to increase speed, accuracy, and visibilityTrack, analyze, and report on scheduling KPIs including adherence, accuracy, OTIF, next-day shipping, and average days to shipIdentify bottlenecks, constraints, and risks; propose solutions and coordinate across teams to address themApply Lean and best-practice planning methods to reduce waste, improve responsiveness, and strengthen cross-functional collaborationProject Management CollaborationCollaborate with Project Management teams to ensure that large-scale initiatives such as new product launches, capacity expansions, or operational improvements are reflected in planning and scheduling activitiesAlign project timelines with operational schedules to minimize disruption and ensure delivery commitments are metQualificationsWhat You Bring to the TableWe’re looking for skills, intellect, and experiences that will help you succeed in this role but we also know that various profiles (not only the one described below) could be successful.
