Bird is a place where you will unlock your potential and achieve your goals.Student Supply Chain Coordinator (Edmonton)What You’ll Be Working OnOur internships and Co-ops are designed to provide you with a business relevant project that will allow you to independently manage your own area of responsibility, while receiving support from an assigned Supervisor and Technical Mentor. We’ll help you discover your strengths and development areas in a challenging, fun, and supportive work environment.We are seeking students to join us for 4 month co-op positions starting in May 2026. This role will be based out of Edmonton, AB.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with various departments to gather information for purchasing and subcontract administration proposals.Assist in creating and formatting purchasing and subcontract administration documents, ensuring adherence to organizational standards.Coordinate the review process, ensuring timely feedback from stakeholders.Conduct market research related to purchasing and subcontract administration to gather relevant information for proposal content.Analyze client requirements in the context of purchasing and subcontract administration, tailoring proposals to meet specific needs.Stay informed about industry trends in purchasing and subcontract administration to enhance proposal competitiveness.Maintain a comprehensive, accurate database of purchasing and subcontract administration-related proposal content.Organize and manage files related to proposals for easy retrieval and reference.Work closely with subject matter experts in purchasing and subcontract administration to understand technical details and incorporate them into proposals.Communicate effectively with team members for smooth collaboration during the development of purchasing and subcontract administration proposals.Conduct thorough proofreading and editing of proposals to ensure they are error-free and meet quality standards.Assist in the development of templates and standard content specific to purchasing and subcontract administration to streamline future proposal processes.This job description outlines the general nature and level of work performed by the Supply Chain Student.
