**SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR**

**Job Overview**:
The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for the efficient planning and coordination of loads to ensure timely pick-ups and cost-effective transportation of goods. This role involves collaborating with various shippers, carriers, customers and team members. In this role, we require a proactive, out-of-the-box thinking, ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, individual.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Load Planning and Coordination: Strategically plan and select the correct carrier to ensure efficient use of resources and cost-effective shipping.
- Route Optimization: Analyze and optimize transportation routes to minimize transit times and costs.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for carriers. Communicate load details, schedules, and any changes to all relevant parties.
- Problem Resolution: Respond proactively to changes in shipment schedules, route adjustments, and other logístical challenges while maintaining high service levels
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of transportation operations, including on-time delivery rates and cost efficiency. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Coordinate with Teams: Work closely with our offices, our partners in transportation, and customer service teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
- Data Management: Accurately input and manage load planning data, track shipments, and generate reports as needed.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to shipment consolidation or operational inefficiencies promptly and effectively.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in transportation or logistics.
- Proficiency in Excel and transportation management systems (TMS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
