The LOCAL Public Eatery Accelerated Leadership Program is a fast-tracked leadership exploration program for those with skills to offer from previous experiences. Throughout this program, you will learn within Operations how to effectively run a multi-million-dollar business while working on your skills in people and leadership development. You will gain an understanding of how LOCAL Public Eatery leads-through people within a fun, energetic, entrepreneurial environment. Our goal is to provide you with the training and education you need to feel empowered to lead, grow and learn.We are currently looking for an experienced and highly motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team in Calgary, AB. This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week) with a wage of $36.00 per hour. The standard 8-hour shifts for this position could be scheduled anytime between 9AM and 2AM, as required.Duties:Plan, organize, and manage the day-to-day operations of LOCAL Public Eatery, including front-of-house, bar,and kitchen activitiesImplement and oversee service standards and operational procedures to ensure a consistent and high-qualityguest experienceRecruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance, fostering a positive team culture and supportingemployee developmentPrepare staff schedules based on operational needs and ensure appropriate coverage during peak periodsMonitor inventory levels, track revenue, and adjust processes to achieve cost control and sales targetsAddress customer feedback and complaints in a timely and professional manner, maintaining high servicestandardsEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations as required by provincial and municipalauthoritiesManage supplier relationships for food, beverages, and restaurant supplies Qualifications:Must have completion of a college program in food service administration, restaurant management or relatedfieldMust have at least 2 years of experience in food preparation or service managementPrior experience in supervising is an assetProven ability to develop, coach and inspire a high-performing teamProactively recruit, hire and retain talentAbility to manage in-store budgets and forecastsHigh attention to detail with integrity to elevate the guest experienceEnglish language ability is requiredThe Perks Flexible scheduling and competitive income opportunities.
