Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project activities, resources, equipment, and information.
- Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Ensure that clients' needs are met as projects evolve.
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
- Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role.
- Experience in project management, from conception to delivery.
- Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
- Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
Specific Skills Required:
- Order entry and coordination between customers and manufacturers.
- Compile and manage submittal packages.
- Manage project releases to stay in line with delivery schedules.
- Manage change notices and addendums.
- Coordinate with other Project Managers and quotes team as required to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in project/agency management software (e.g. Oasis) would be an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of lighting industry standards and practices is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
