Our client, who offers a range of high-performing polyurethane spray foam products, is looking for a Production Worker.The ideal candidate will assist in the process of producing spray foam insulation. This includes tasks such as drumming off, pre-weighing, unloading tankers, and batch making, among other various duties and responsibilities.Hours: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (staggered) and will eventually move to 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.Pay rate : $25 /hourLocation: Campobello Rd MississaugaAdvantagesOpportunity to hired on as a permanent worker (Temp to perm role)Great team Lots of learning opportunity ResponsibilitiesCertified to operate forklifts- - must have counterbalance licenceFollow all safety rules and guidelinesAble to finish all packaging per SOP’s—drums, pails, totes, labels, palletizing, banding, bar code labels, etc.Perform housekeeping daily and maintain good plant hygieneAssist other employees in safe handling of raw chemical materials and finished productsPerform any duty as requested as by his supervisor in any area of the plantAble to manufacture product and is knowledgeable regarding all production constraintsAble to create and enter production orders and packaging orders in SAP/Batch MasterKnows and understands all safety requirements related to pre-weigh and movement/ receiving of bulk raw materialsWear all appropriate PPEAble to prepare product stencils for labeling drumsProperly maintain respiratorComplete forklift daily safety checklistQualificationsAbility to read and write EnglishHave excellent verbal and written communication skillsDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing prioritiesTeam playerMust be able to understand and execute directivesSummaryIf you or anyone you know is interested in this position, please send your resume and forklift licence to crio.buchanan@randstad.ca or merlinanna.abraham@randstad.caRandstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
