This role will be home based and we are looking for adjusters in the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland Area.  Come join our teamWhat you’ll do:Completes on site and/or virtual inspections of personal and commercial claimsResponsible for capturing the scope of damages and writing repair estimates to settle claimsReconciles and validates vendor estimates to ensure price and scope is appropriateInvestigate by meeting with insureds, third parties, witnesses and lawyers in or order to obtain facts and information.Review facts, policy, technical reports, fire marshall reports, case law, and make decisions on coverage, value of the claim and negotiate/settle the claim accordinglyResponsible for providing exemplary customer service and keeping related parties informed of the claims status.Responsible for data accuracy, issuance of payments to insureds, vendors and other insurance companies.Assistance during CAT's within Canada.Correspond with third parties, lawyers, insureds, brokers and individuals or companies who have an interest in the claim settlement.What you’ll bring:2+ years experience as a Field adjuster handling Personal Lines and Commercial lines claimsStrong background in Property InsurancePreference given to a candidate with the ability to scope damages and prepare an estimate for repairsGood PC skills and adaptable using new technologyValid drivers licenseWhat you’ll get:The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000.
