This is a full-time position, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety. The successful candidate will begin as a yard labourer with clear opportunities to progress into more senior roles within the sawmill operation. Responsibilities: Perform general yard labour duties including material handling, cleanup, and assisting equipment operators. Support sawmill operations by ensuring proper flow of materials and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Follow all safety protocols and participate in regular safety meetings. Assist senior sawmill personnel as required to support production activities. Qualifications: Ability to perform physical labour, including lifting, bending, and working in outdoor conditions. Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail. Willingness to learn and grow within the sawmill environment. Preferred Qualifications: Recent heavy labour experience. Familiarity with basic hand tools or equipment operation. Work Environment: Outdoor and indoor industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.
