Join us and contribute to building a more inclusive future. Job Overview GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Junior Sawmill Worker to join our valued client’s team in Grande Prairie, AB. This is a full-time position, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety. The successful candidate will begin as a yard labourer with clear opportunities to progress into more senior roles within the sawmill operation. Responsibilities Perform general yard labour duties including material handling, cleanup, and assisting equipment operators. Support sawmill operations by ensuring proper flow of materials and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Follow all safety protocols and participate in regular safety meetings. Assist senior sawmill personnel as required to support production activities. Qualifications Ability to perform physical labour, including lifting, bending, and working in outdoor conditions. Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail. Willingness to learn and grow within the sawmill environment. Preferred Qualifications Recent heavy labour experience. Familiarity with basic hand tools or equipment operation. Experience in outdoor and indoor industrial environments with exposure to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions. Understanding that personal protective equipment is required and will be provided as per site standards. Competitive hourly wage of $25 per hour.
