The Team Lead, Project Account Payable will support the Account Payable team and be responsible for reconciliation of all projects for our entities, CRO and clinical site (CRU).

More specifically, the Team Lead, Project Account Payable must:

  • Verify and approve all Site related invoices;
  • Oversee all aspects of investigator system errors/improvement (Bioclinica/ Veeva);
  • Reconcile all projects that are ending (CRO/CRU);
  • Help and support the accounts receivable team related to project reconciliation;
  • Help and support the accounts payable team to search and solve invoice discrepancies for site and project related issues;
  • Help and support the accounts payable team to answer site and project questions and inquiries;
  • Actively contribute to the month-end closing activities in collaboration with the accounting department to ensure accurate and on time information;
  • Prepare and analyze the GST/QST monthly claim;
  • Approve journal entries for AP Accrual (mastercard, invoices and expenses);
  • Verify and answer all investigator emails in the specific outlook account;
  • Provide leadership for continuous improvement in account payable area, contributing to the evolution of the tools and process;
  • Increase department productivity and accuracy by developing automated tools and best practices;
  • Prepare reports and analysis for account payable
  • Present/Review KPI's and present to Manager
  • Assure that all employees receive the proper training
  • Power user in FSM
  • Create procedures for all tasks

Description - Fr:

Le Chef d'équipe compte payable de projets gère et soutient l'équipe des comptes payables et est responsable de la réconciliation de tous les projets pour nos entités CRO et unité de recherche clinique (CRU).

Plus précisément, le Chef d'équipe compte payable de projet doit :

  • Vérifier et approuver toutes les factures liées aux sites ;
  • Superviser tous les aspects des erreurs/améliorations du système investigateur (Bioclinica/Veeva) ;
  • Réconcilier tous les projets en fin de cycle (CRO/CRU) ;
  • Aider et soutenir l'équipe des comptes clients dans la réconciliation des projets ;
  • Aider et soutenir l'équipe des comptes fournisseurs dans la recherche et la résolution des écarts de factures pour les problèmes liés aux sites et aux projets ;
  • Aider et soutenir l'équipe des comptes fournisseurs à répondre aux questions et demandes des sites et projets ;
  • Contribuer activement aux activités de clôture de fin de mois en collaboration avec le département comptable pour garantir des informations précises et en temps voulu ;
  • Préparer et analyser la demande mensuelle de TVQ/TPS ;
  • Approuver les écritures comptables pour les provisions des comptes fournisseurs (cartes de crédit, factures et dépenses) ;
  • Vérifier et répondre à tous les courriels des investigateurs dans le compte Outlook spécifique ;
  • Fournir un leadership pour l'amélioration continue dans le domaine des comptes fournisseurs, en contribuant à l'évolution des outils et des processus ;
  • Accroître la productivité et la précision du département en développant des outils automatisés et des meilleures pratiques ;
  • Préparer des rapports et des analyses pour les comptes fournisseurs ;
  • Présenter et examiner les indicateurs clés de performance (KPI) et les soumettre au responsable ;
  • Veiller à ce que tous les employés reçoivent la formation appropriée ;
  • Utilisateur avancé dans FSM ;
  • Créer des procédures pour toutes les tâches.
Profil recherché:
  • Diplôme collégial en comptabilité ou dans tout domaine pertinent ;
  • Minimum de trois ans d'expérience pertinente dans ce rôle, dont une année d'expérience en réconciliation financière de projets ;
  • Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale ;
  • Bilinguisme (français et anglais), tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit ;
  • Maîtrise des outils informatiques (Microsoft Office, Internet, Outlook, etc.) ;
  • Capacité à prioriser et à gérer plusieurs tâches en même temps.
