However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.About the roleAs a Business Advisor II, Broker Distribution you will be responsible to analyze data, monitor and distribute reports related to broker relationship management and performance. This role will be working directly with the senior leadership and the business development teams in the Atlantic region.The ideal candidate is a data-driven expert who excels at transforming complex data into compelling stories and strategic recommendations. As a Business Advisor, you will leverage your analytical prowess and innovative thinking to influence key business decisions and drive organizational success. What You’ll Do Here:Create and monitor reports and dashboards including analyzing business performance metrics, market trends, broker growth, retention, profitability and industry insights to provide strategic recommendations that align with company goals and enhance business growth. Craft compelling narratives using various tools to communicate complex data insights in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner to diverse stakeholders. Provide reporting support to our Business Development Managers by creating data packages to use during broker visits.Stay up to date on industry trends, data analytics advancements, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge and drive continuous organizational improvement. Lead small to large scale projects with stakeholders across the operation to enhance efficiency, improve stakeholder experience, drive growth and profitability. Act as a technical resource to support day-to-day operations. Work with stakeholders to dive deep into problems, find root causes of issues and determine possible solutions/recommendations. Challenge the status-quo, be inquisitive and curious to dive deep into issues. Attend and assist with leading meetings with stakeholders to present findings and insights on business needs and future opportunities.What you’ll bring to the table:Bachelor’s degree in a data-related field (i.e., Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Actuarial etc.), or any combination of equivalent education and experienceMinimum 3 years of proven experience with working with large datasets and creating data visualization presentations for non-technical audiencesExperience with data analysis and presentation tools (Excel, PowerBI, SQL, SAS, VBA, PowerApps etc.)Knowledge of broker relationship management and Property & Casualty Insurance considered an assetStrong ability to think critically, adaptable, analytical and highly innovativeAbility and interest in both strategic thinking and execution of deliverablesExcellent team player while maintaining ability to work autonomous on tasksAvailability to travel within Canada up to 1-2 times a year considered an assetNo Canadian work experience required but must have authorization to work in Canada#LI-HybridCe poste jouera un rôle essentiel au sein de notre équipe. | This position will fill an essential role in our team.
