The Talent Acquisition (TA) team works closely with the People & Culture Operations team for our ATS (Lever), reporting, advertising, and online/offline recruiting strategies, and with our People & Culture Business Partner and Total Rewards teams.If you were the Recruiting Coordinator – Temporary now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:Providing administration and process support to the TA team throughout all aspects of the recruitment processCoordinating interviews, travel logistics and onboarding schedules for candidates and new hires as required Providing support for in-person interviews, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experienceCoordinating with hiring managers and cross-functional partners to ensure seamless onboarding and to align first-day logistics for all new hiresSupporting data entry and ensuring accuracy and integrity across all systems and touchpointsPosting open positions through Lever and to local community outlets to recruit candidatesConducting research to identify and engage promising candidates (LinkedIn, Boolean search, etc.)Managing the internal referral program and payout processOverseeing the background check procedures for relevant rolesContributing to building a strong recruitment network and talent pipelines via relationships with key institutions, networking events, career fairs, job boards, conferences, and promising past applicantsEvaluating the existing suite of tools and integrations, continuously identifying areas of improvementDocumenting standard operating procedures for TA processesHere are some of the things you could be working on in the future:Contributing to a continuously expanding candidate database for the Talent Acquisition teamBuilding a strong recruitment network and talent pipeline via relationships with key institutions, networking events, career fairs, job boards, conferences, and promising past applicantsSupporting the Manager, Talent Acquisition and Recruiters in creation of interview guides and tool kitsHelping to identify roadblocks in our processes while seeking ways to improve workflows to maximize efficiencies and our time to hire.Participating in identifying and supporting TA projects and initiativesSupporting the Arc’teryx Talent Acquisition team in creating employer branding initiativesAre you our next Recruiting Coordinator - Temporary?You have 2+ years' experience in a recruiting environment You have had some exposure to and experience with recruiting processesYou have the ability to sensitively deal with confidential informationYou have the ability to consistently evaluate and evolve existing processes You are not afraid to fail and use every opportunity to learn and shareYou effectively balance autonomy and collaborationYou have strong organizational and time management skillsYou are experienced in managing projects from start to finishYou are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutionsYou remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguityYou seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is rightYou have experience using with LinkedIn Recruiter, SharePoint, Smartsheets, applicant tracking systems, Excel, Word, and OutlookYou have an excellent command of the English language and strong verbal and written communication/presentation skillsYou have experience in conducting Internet-based research. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
