2026 will be a big year for Inventa, and we’re gearing up to support a major sports festival in Vancouver. Our Recruitment team is about to get busy We’re looking for a driven Recruitment Coordinator to join us and learn the ropes from the inside.

You’ll work closely with our In-House Recruiter and HR Lead to help keep our hiring process running smoothly. This includes organising schedules, talking to candidates, coordinating events, and generally making things happen behind the scenes. If you’re someone who enjoys staying organized and isn’t afraid to talk to strangers, this is your change to get your foot in the door in the HR world. We’re looking for someone who’s currently in or recently graduated from Business school (with a preference for those in HR).

Please Note: This role is specific to our Vancouver office. We work on a hybrid office model where all in‑office team members are expected to work a minimum of 3 days in the office. You may be required to go to travel to career fairs or get hands‑on experience at activations.

What You’ll be Doing:

- Support the Recruitment Specialist and Client Services team with day‑to‑day hiring coordination for in‑field recruitment activities.

- Proactively source candidates through email outreach, social platforms, and community engagement.

- Screen incoming resumes and assist in shortlisting candidates for interviews.

- Coordinate interviews by scheduling, confirming and preparing candidates.

- Maintain accurate candidate records and notes in our recruitment database.

- Documentation such as preparation of contracts or other employment documents.

- Recruitment Marketing such as creating and sharing content to promote job openings. Familiar with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Indeed, LinkedIn and other social media/hiring platforms.

- Engage with candidates warmly, making them feel welcome, respected and comfortable throughout the recruitment process.

Who You’ll Be:

- Someone who has professionalism in all aspects of recruitment including candidate engagement, client‑service and an understanding of compliance with labour laws and company policies.

- Someone who’s organized, reliable and detail‑oriented – you like making plans and lists and keeping things on track.

- A people person who enjoys talking to new people and can make others feel at ease.

- Curious and eager to learn. You’re excited to grow your HR and recruitment skills with hands‑on experience.

- A strong communicator who can write clear messages and speak confidently in‑person or over the phone.

- Someone who takes initiative and doesn’t wait to be told what to do next. You’re not afraid to ask questions, take action, and follow through.

Comfortable using software like:

- MS Suite: Outlook, Excel, PPT.

- Canva.

- Social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, & TikTok.

Other Position Details:

- Available for full time work (40 hrs/week, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am – 5 pm).

- Comfortable with hybrid model (minimum 3 days in the office, and 2 days from home).

- Local to Lower Mainland and can commute to our office in Vancouver.

- Administrative experience working in an office is strongly preferred.

Assets:

- Valid driver’s license and access to vehicle.

- Past experience in recruitment is an asset, including recruiting for school clubs or recruiting in a professional setting.

- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems is preferred.

Contract range: January – August 2026
