The Bruce Power Student Program provides you with the opportunity to participate in a series of professional developmental workshops and to learn from Bruce Power leaders, all while acquiring essential work experience to help launch your career.All Bruce Power (Tiverton Site) student opportunities for the May 2026 academic work terms are targeting in person placements. ** Ability to Travel to Site will be Required**.Available Work Terms: 4-months, 8-months and 12-month placements (see application for details)We have an exciting student opportunity for students currently enrolled in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Chemical Engineering or Power Engineering. Students will have an opportunity to support our Operations department in various endeavours.Key Responsibilities:Students will support daily Operations activities and integrate into daily operations of either Bruce A or the Bruce B station.Administrative assistance with Visual Management BoardAssessment of department level performance on a daily / monthly basis to outline areas of improvement. Monitoring critical data and backlogs for equipment performance / reliability data to identify trends.Assist in ensuring operations has all information equipment necessary to smoothly run our plant.Assist with new work coding.Scheduling and creating the operator challenge review meeting packages.Support outage and operator challenges and provide deficiency reportingOther duties as requiredSkills and Knowledge:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and planning abilitiesStrong computer skillsDemonstrates strong learning agilityDependable and self-motivatedAbility to work cooperatively and effectively in a teamA strong understanding of safety in the workplaceEducation and Experience:Currently enrolled in a Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Power Engineering programMust be enrolled in a full-time post-secondary programMust have completed a minimum of one year post-secondary studiesMust be returning full-time immediately following the work term to post-secondary studies or require a co-op term to graduateWhy should you consider a co-op term at Bruce Power?
