We are looking for a General Laborer or Assembly Worker for a challenging and essential role focused on assembling various paper components, such as brochures, advertisements, and pamphlets. This is a unique opportunity to start a temporary position with the possibility of permanence with a competitive salary of $21/hour.If you are interested in applying please send your resume to: amanda.chan@randstad.caAdvantages-A competitive salary of $21/hour and weekly pay.-Temporary position with possibility of permanence for long-term job stability.-Ideal daytime schedule (5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday to Friday) allowing for a good work-life balance.-Opportunity to work in an essential sector of Manufacturing and Logistics.-Work environment focused on quality and performance for assembly, packaging, and labeling.Responsibilities-Perform the manual assembly of various paper components such as brochures, pamphlets, and advertising inserts.-Conduct rigorous quality control checks to identify any errors or anomalies, including defects, color differences, or printing issues.-Ensure that the print format and the location of perforations (punch holes) comply with specifications.-Utilize computer literacy to create and print shipping and product labels for packaging and labeling.-Carefully and accurately package and label final orders for shipping.-Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the Manufacturing and Logistics sector.-Follow current work instructions and safety standards for the Material Handler role.Qualifications-Work experience in assembly, quality control, or Manufacturing and Logistics (an asset).-Basic computer skills and the ability to manage labeling software.-Ability to commute to the workplace for the 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. schedule.-Must demonstrate autonomy and rigor/attention to detail for quality control tasks.-Be comfortable with a physical role including Material Handling and packaging.-Commitment to safety and work procedures.SummaryIf you feel ike this is the right fit for you, we would love to hear from you.
