To learn more about who we are and how you can help bring our Lake Country Co-op brand to life, visit us at .Reporting to the Produce Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.• Oversee day to day produce team operations to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.• Assist in handling performance concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.• Support inventory counts, ordering, and shrink-reductions initiatives.• Prepare products to Lake Country Co-op standards while maintaining production records.• Ensure shelves are stocked, displays are organized, and products meet quality and rotation standards.• Address customer questions, concerns, and escalations with professionalism.• Follow all Food Safe and Health and Safety regulations and practices.• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.• Perform all other duties as assigned.• Embody our values of Honesty, Innovation, Responsibility, and Respect.Why It Matters: Our Lake Country Co-op team provides a range of products and services to support our 54,680 member-owners in 20 different communities. Through the work that we do and annual sales of $700 million we help to build, fuel, feed and grow our communities together.Who You Are:You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:• You have 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role; retail produce department and Co-operative Retailing System experience are considered assets.• You have the ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced store setting.• You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and are proud of the work that you do.• You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.• You have knowledge of product rotation, merchandising standards, and basic inventory practices.• You are familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.• You have the ability to fulfill physical labour job requirements – standing, performing regular heavy lifting, and frequent operation of a pallet jack.• You have a flexible work schedule; applicant must be available to work morning shifts.Our Lake Country Co-op team members receive competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package, and an employer-contributed pension plan.
