Beyond the numbers, you’ll lead a talented team, champion process improvements, and play a key role in special projects that strengthen our financial foundation and fuel growth.If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love mentoring others while influencing big-picture strategy, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.Own the Numbers: Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, MD&A, and disclosures.Be the IFRS Guru: Provide technical accounting guidance and ensure compliance with evolving standards.Lead & Inspire: Supervise and mentor a talented team, fostering growth and best practices.Collaborate Across the Board: Partner with FP&A, tax, treasury, and operations to ensure accuracy and alignment.Drive Improvement: Champion process enhancements, system upgrades, and internal controls.Audit Like a Pro: Coordinate quarterly reviews and year-end audits with external auditors.QualificationsWho are we looking for?Its starts with a CPA designation and a degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.Big 4 experience and public company reporting expertise.Deep knowledge of IFRS and financial systems (NetSuite, OneStream).Proven leadership (5+ years) managing high-performing teams.Advanced Excel skills and strong business acumen.Exceptional communication skills to simplify complex concepts.Bonus Points: MBA or CFA designation, experience with capital assets, consolidation tools, and a knack for strategic thinking.Additional InformationWhat's in it for You?Be part of an industry that's more important than everAward winning safety culture.Hybrid work model.Supportive team environment with room to grow together.Employee Referral Program.We are growingDexterra Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
