Who We’re Looking For: Minimum two years’ experience working in a similar role; Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot a variety of equipment related issues; An organized individual able to follow directions/procedures. Self-starter with the ability to proactively manage workload; Additional experience in oilfield, sand or industrial work is an asset; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; Must be able to meet deadlines and successfully handle time pressures and stress; Ability to hold valid tickets including: H2S, First Aid, WHMIS, TDG, Wilderness Awareness Valid Class 1 license (no restrictions) with a clean drivers abstract What Will Help You Succeed: We are looking for individuals with a hardworking attitude, who have working knowledge of tools and mechanics. Individuals must be self-motivated and adaptable to change. Other things that will help you succeed in this role include: A mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work with different personalities Troubleshooting ability with multiple disciplines Nice to Have: First Aid certification is not required but considered an asset Previous exposure to Heavy Truck and Trailer equipment and maintenance.
