Title: IT Systems Administrator

Reports to: Director of IT

Based at: Mucci International Marketing Inc., Kingsville, ON

Type of Employment: Full-Time, permanent, 5-days a week; after hours and weekends depending on workload and priorities including on-call Saturdays.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the availability of all hardware and applications, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled backups.Implementation of software upgrades; including operating systems, production software upgrades and other enhancements as required.Perform administration of domain user accounts, application accounts and permissions.Assist with tickets outlining user support requests and work as an escalation point for I.T. related issues.Assist in the documentation of systems and procedures.Member of a project team regarding implementation of technology solutions for business needs.Coordinate with vendors in regards to hardware/software deployments and infrastructure changes.Rotating after hours On-call Support

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Post-Secondary degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study. An acceptable combination of education and experience will be considered.2+ years of experience as a Server Admin with Microsoft Products (Windows Server, Exchange)Experience with Vmware, Citrix and Veeam an asset.Strong communication and customer service skillsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Physical Abilities:

Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time.Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs.Must be able to lift material regularly up to 14 kg / 30 lbs; and occasionally up to 23 kg / 50lbsMust be able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time.Must be able to work in a temperature-controlled environment of approximately 13 ˚C / 55 ˚F.
