Description :DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW The Specialized Reporting and Solution Management Team (SRSM) Insurance Team is part of the broader Specialized Reporting and Solutions Management Team, and reports under the Chief Accountant's Department of TDBG. From a business perspective, SRSM Insurance Team supports the TD Insurance CFO. The team is responsible for specialized financial and regulatory reporting, including OSFI, requirements for the General Insurance and Life Insurance business. Co-op and Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience across a number of the businesses at TD. This program is designed to complement your on-the job experience and features: Leadership talks with key Leaders from across the organization Lunch and Learns on topics such as Innovation Diversity and Inclusion and Personal Branding and so much more JOB DESCRIPTION Assist in maintaining robust internal controls and identify/assess control deficiencies, adhering to enterprise governance policies. Assist in implementing system or process changes driven by new product launches or current process improvements Perform month-end reconciliation related to balance sheet and income statement accounts. Investigate and resolve potential errors or misclassifications through analysis and business unit inquiries. Provide project management support for external audit, facilitating communication with external auditors and business partners and ensuring all request are completed in a timely manner.
