Job Description
DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
The Specialized Reporting and Solution Management Team (SRSM) Insurance Team is part of the broader Specialized Reporting and Solutions Management Team, and reports under the Chief Accountant's Department of TDBG.

From a business perspective, SRSM Insurance Team supports the TD Insurance CFO. The team is responsible for specialized financial and regulatory reporting, including OSFI, requirements for the General Insurance and Life Insurance business.

Job Description

• Assist in maintaining robust internal controls and identify/assess control deficiencies, adhering to enterprise governance policies.
• Assist in implementing system or process changes driven by new product launches or current process improvements
• Perform month-end reconciliation related to balance sheet and income statement accounts. Investigate and resolve potential errors or misclassifications through analysis and business unit inquiries.
• Provide project management support for external audit, facilitating communication with external auditors and business partners and ensuring all request are completed in a timely manner.

• Currently enrolled in second year of an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting programs; with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term (requirement of all co-op/intern positions)
• Analytical thinking
• Proficient in Microsoft Suites (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Ability to multitask

• This position is a 4-month work term and will commence May 4th to August 21st, 2026.
