Abstraction from your current role will be agreed in line with service requirements as per the abstraction policy. Main duties of the job The Media & Events Officer will have responsibility for supporting the following functions: Fostering links between the East of England Ambulance Trust Service and similar providers within Health who share the same vision. Being aware of all events and networking opportunities within the East of England area that the network can link to. Linking in with external events providers and representing the DSN and EEAST AMB Provide support to colleagues linking men with mentors or role models Co-ordinate a limited number of social events around the activities of the group for members of the network and other colleagues within the Trust The Group may invite such persons it deems necessary to its meetings for contribution to specific agenda items. The group works together to support colleagues of all beliefs and aims to raise awareness of different faiths throughout the Trust. Our aims The main aim of MFN is to promote and champion inclusion of all staff within EEAST. Inform EEAST about faiths and beliefs that their colleagues have who work alongside them, but also about the faiths and beliefs in the community which we serve to better understand it and improve our engagement. Celebrate and encourage faith and belief systems that are in our organisation and in our community Support people in their own faith or belief.
