We provide inclusive, low‑barrier programs that support seniors, families, children, and individuals facing social, economic, and health‑related challenges. Rooted in community connection and collaboration, Crouch works alongside residents and partners to strengthen belonging, wellness, and resilience. Position Summary The Executive Director (ED) is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and sustainability of Crouch NRC. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the ED provides strategic direction, oversees daily operations, ensures financial stability, and serves as a visible ambassador within the community. This role requires a collaborative, values‑driven leader with strong nonprofit management skills and a commitment to community development. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Governance Advance Crouch NRC’s mission, vision, and strategic priorities Work closely with the Board of Directors to support governance, planning, and accountability Foster an inclusive, respectful, and community‑centred organizational culture Operations & People Management Oversee day‑to‑day operations, programs, and services Recruit, supervise, and support staff, students and key volunteers, empowering their leadership in their roles and tasks Ensure effective policies, procedures, and risk management practices Lead budgeting, financial planning, and reporting Ensure compliance with funder and regulatory requirements Lead fundraising, grant writing, and revenue diversification Community Engagement & Partnerships Act as a public representative and advocate for Crouch NRC Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, funders, and community partners and multi‑level government representatives Represent the organization on neighbourhood and community‑wide governance tables and committees Strengthen collaborations that respond to neighbourhood needs Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in a nonprofit or community‑based organization Experience working with a Board of Directors Strong financial management and organizational leadership skills Strong revenue development, grant writing and donor relationship skills Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and community development Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities Knowledge of the nonprofit and community services sector in London or similar communities is an asset Demonstrated ability to use technology and social media to support effective organizational management, communication, community engagement, and outreach, including proficiency with standard office software, virtual meeting platforms, cloud‑based systems, and ethical, inclusive online practices. Special Considerations Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) Valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract, appropriate insurance and access to a reliable vehicle. Working Conditions Work is generally performed in an office and/or in the community but can occasionally involve other settings Schedule demands flexibility for evening and weekend meetings and events as well as occasional overnight travel out of town.
