Manager, Rental Fleet

Toromont Cat Power Systems is looking for a Manager Rental & Used Assetm who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations & activities for the Power Systems Rental Fleet in leveraging a cross-functional technical and clerical team located in various locations, he/she is responsible for ensuring fleet maintenance, repair and availability, and various metrics such Return-to-Rent turnaround time.As a Manager, Rental Fleet & Used Asset, YOU will experience: Working within one of the safest organizations in the industry where your safety and well-being are our most important priority Working for the best in class equipment dealer and with the premium Caterpillar brand Opportunities to continuously Learn, Grow and Develop with our Toromont team through our internal Training teams that are geared for your success Competitive total rewards including: wages, benefits, and premiums (as eligible) An opportunity for flexible work schedules and opportunities across multiple locations across Eastern Canada In a typical day, YOU will experience: Modeling the way for safe, environmentally sound, and healthy work behaviors in support of Toromont's Health and Safety Policies, Programs, and initiatives Day-to-day operations & activities for the Power Systems Rental Fleet in leveraging a cross-functional technical and clerical team located in various locations, responsible for ensuring fleet maintenance, repair and availability, and various metrics such Return-to-Rent turnaround time Working in close collaboration with the Rental Sales Managers and Rental Operations Manager to ensure the best alignment between sales and operations Ensuring that used equipment once purchased is coordinated and managed thru the service operations and made available for sale including virtual media posting Assisting in setting up used equipment purchase and sales price, rental equipment disposition pricing and preparation and shipment sold Offering technical guidance, set up goals and objectives, monitor efficiency performance for direct and indirect reports Managing and refining work order flow and process for rental commissioning, maintenance, repair, service letter and compliance inspection work, internally and with customers, across ECAN. Must have for this role: College Diploma 6 - 8 years of relevant experience required - Power Generation Technical aptitude with knowledge and experience working over a large geographic territory across divisions and levels of management Highly customer centric and a strong collaborator with a sense of urgency Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive requests simultaneously Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules Strong initiative, results driven with strong agility and execution Exceptional communication and people skills with a proven ability to work within cross functional teams Understanding or Used Asset marketplace includes the role of key players such as brokers, auction houses, independents, rental houses, purchasing behavior and pricing levels High proficiency in IRS, DBS, and Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook About Toromont Cat Power Systems Toromont Cat Power Systems is an industry leader in the supply and integration of backup and prime power generation systems, rental generators, marine engines and industrial engines through customized engineering and packaging.
