**Position Overview**
Are you passionate about developing relationships with current and potential customers looking to rent Vermeer equipment? We’re looking for a leader to support a team while playing a crucial role in overseeing rental operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing profitability. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage rental agreements, maintain inventory, and provide exceptional customer service.

**What you will do**:

- Manage and support the rental department and rental fleet of equipment.
- Prepare, submit and manage rental sales forecasts, budgets, and balance revenue against expenses to meet/exceed company profitability requirements.
- Monitor all short and long-term rental contracts, rent-to-buy activities, and opportunities for potential sales.
- Monitor rental utilization, ensure equipment rentals are maintained appropriately and when equipment is returned, repairs of rental equipment are completed swiftly and returned to rental fleet for next customer.
- Conduct market analysis, risk assessments, and stay ahead of competitive activities and market trends.
- Partner with sales and utilizes auction houses and online/internet for opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to overall company policies and procedures, with emphasis on health and safety regulations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

**What we are looking for**
- Valid driver's license required; the Company will review motor vehicle records annually for all employees for whom driving a motor vehicle is an essential job function or when employees must obtain and drive rental vehicles during the course of conducting company business.
- Business degree and/or equivalent dealership experience at the management level is an asset.
- Service experience and heavy equipment operation is an asset.
- Strong managerial, customer service, sales and analytical skills required.
- Strong organizational and decision-making abilities, with a desire to take initiative and accept responsibility.
- Equipment knowledge or previous industry experience is a plus

**Travel**
Travel is required of this position.

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
