SUMMARY OF THE ROLEOperations CoordinatorSalary Range- $60,000- $70,000Guelph, OnMammoet is searching for an Operations Coordinator to join the Operations team based in Guelph. We are looking for candidates with experience in customer service, client relations, and administration. The candidate is someone who likes to be challenged, has a strong focus on customer service, and is flexible and adaptive. The job would require attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate and respond to changing information. The coordinator plays an important role in working with the Operations Planning team. They assist our planners build schedules to ensure our clients’ needs are met. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOINGProvide backup support to the Dispatch and Planning team, assisting with daily operational tasksEnter rental orders into the system and follow up with the Sales team to ensure timely processingRespond to customer inquiries and provide accurate information in a professional mannerCoordinate training for field staff and maintain regional training and certification recordsAct as a liaison with the Maintenance Department to confirm equipment availability and identify additional resource needsCreate and process Purchase Requisitions and Purchase OrdersProcess and schedule field staff vacation and time-off requestsIdentify, recommend, and communicate opportunities to improve operational efficiencyCollect and retrieve relevant data from internal departments and external partners as requiredExtract data and prepare routine and periodic reportsParticipate in and support projects and initiatives as needed WHAT YOU’LL NEEDCapable of working independently across result areas under supervision, following set instructions and procedures. Primary tasks include data collection, processing, verification, and archiving; requires basic business process knowledge and attention to detail. Role involves information exchange, logical reasoning, and argumentation.
