Our mission is to open the world through education—helping people see new places, experience new cultures, and discover more about the world and themselves. As a Travel Sales Consultant, you’ll be on the front lines of our sales team, driving growth through proactive outreach. Your focus will be making outbound calls to teachers across Canada, sparking new conversations every day and turning fresh prospects into long-term partners. Rather than waiting for opportunities to come to you, you’ll be creating them—introducing educators to the transformative power of educational travel and inspiring them to bring these experiences to their students. You'll build long-term relationships with your customers and help them along their journey - before, during, and after travel. If you’re energized by the thrill of cold calling, building a pipeline from scratch, and hitting ambitious targets, this is the role for you. Every call is a chance to change lives and open doors to the world. What You'll Do: Acquire and grow your customer base within your assigned territory by identifying, developing, and executing opportunities to drive growth.Build lasting partnerships with teachers and educators — inspiring them to lead travel programs and helping them every step of the way, from recruitment through safe return home.Prospect and expand your pipeline through strategic outreach — cold calls, networking, creative email campaigns, and uncovering new markets.Deliver results by forecasting and achieving monthly and quarterly sales goals.Communicate effectively through email, phone, video calls, and in-person meetings to engage and support your customers.Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure every tour runs smoothly and exceeds expectations.Sell with purpose — you’re not just selling a product; you’re helping students see the world, grow their confidence, and expand their horizons.  Who You Are: You’re eager to start your career in sales with a role that offers real responsibility and accountability – an entrepreneur at heart, you’re ready to take charge and forge your own path to success You're a natural at connecting with people and building relationships - you can build rapport with a complete stranger in a matter of minutesYou’re goal-oriented and relentless - there’s no better feeling to you than hitting a target, and you’re motivated by the challenge of surpassing it.You’re entrepreneurial by nature - driven to open doors, uncover prospects, and seek out new opportunities rather than waiting for them to come to you. You’re fiercely competitive - in a collaborative, team player sort-of-wayYou’re adaptable and resourceful - you don’t shy away from tough calls, creative outreach, or thinking outside the box to get in front of the right people. You’re a great persuasive communicator and natural networker, who loves talking to people and sharing your passion You want to be part of a team that motivates and inspires you Some past sales and prospecting experience is an asset, but not a requirement Our comprehensive training program will teach you everything you need to know to build a successful sales career, even if you have never worked in sales before.  Why You’ll Love Working Here: Work in our light-filled, conveniently located downtown office where you’ll be part of a fun, fast-paced and collaborative team, working together to make an impact. Did we mention we were voted one of GTA's Top Places to Work 3 years in a row? Plus, enjoy free coffee and snacks The opportunity to travel with your customers for FREE at least once a year Experience the product you’ll be selling first-hand by embarking on one of our unique travel itineraries alongside one of our student tour groups Take advantage of our professional growth and learning opportunities, including monthly trainings, workshops, and inspiring talks with global leaders and experts Participate in social networking opportunities by joining one of our many employee-run social groups, like book club or movie club, or any of our “EFinity” resource groups.Enjoy four weeks paid vacation, to rest, relax or adventure - plus 11 paid holidays Grow your savings with a 20% company match on your RRSP contributions (25% after 5-years) Excellent health, dental, and vision coverage, along with life and disability insurance Wellness benefits, including an annual $500 healthy lifestyle reimbursement EF program discounts including travel, language schools, childcare, and more Discounts at local venues and businesses Eligibility for our Workplace Flexibility Program: our pilot hybrid work model allows you to WFH on FridaysCompetitive compensation, including bonus earning potential About Educational Tours Canada:For over 40 years in Canada, EF Educational Tours has been helping teachers and students experience the life-changing power of travel.
