JOB TITLE: Regional Coordinator The Regional Coordinator supports the development of quality person-centered services and works alongside the Regional Manager and other Managers/Coordinators. This role oversees a combination of Community Inclusion employees, Staffed Home employees, and Home Share Providers, ensuring standards are met and quality services are provided. REPORTS TO: Regional Manager KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement programs for individuals (Home Share, Community Inclusion, Respite, etc.). Train and oversee managers in all aspects of program operations. Assist in program training, staff development, and provide support and guidance to employees/managers/contractors. Provide guidelines and directions regarding behavior interventions, restrictions, techniques, etc. Assist employees, Coordinators, and Managers with supported people’s health issues, including mental health and behavioral referrals. Support and meet the needs of individuals, family members, and advocates. Participate in developing the strategic direction for service delivery in the region. Monitor individual programs and ensure regulatory guidelines and standards are met. Maintain all personnel, payroll, and financial records as required. Coordinate crisis response and assist with problem-solving. Lead the implementation of ongoing risk management activities. Partner with Human Resources on recruitment needs. Manage and oversee regional occupational health and safety initiatives. Lead and/or participate in additional committees or special projects. Advise the Regional Manager and Human Resources Director on labour relations issues. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Associate's degree or post-secondary Certificate/Diploma in social services, health care, or a related field At least two years of experience in a related field, preferably with some supervisory or leadership experience Willingness to obtain a Criminal Records Search Current first-aid and CPR certification Class 4 driving license (preferred but not mandatory) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Work Environment and Expectations: Office Presence: This role is based in our main office. Travel Requirements: Regular travel is required to effectively engage with our teams and community partners. This includes periodic visits to various service locations to support and interact directly with staff and stakeholders.
