Job Description: Essential Coil Well Service, a division of Element Technical Services, is currently seeking a Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Mechanic for our Grande Prairie location to specialize in CVIP inspections and repairs.Duties/Responsibilities:Perform CVIP inspections on heavy duty tractors and trailersPerform thorough preventative maintenance inspections to all company assets while complying with all safety, environmental and operational policies and proceduresDiagnose defects and repair a wide variety of heavy-duty equipmentPerform mechanical and electrical repairs on equipment in the shop Qualifications:Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician (Red Seal preferred) but not requiredA valid CVIP license is needed or have the ability to apply for onePrevious oilfield, coil tubing and pumping experience would be an assetValid Class 5 Driver’s License with good driving record requiredComputer diagnostic experienceAbility to work independently in a busy environment with shifting prioritiesHighly flexible with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environmentClear and concise communication skills – both written and verbalWhy Essential:Immediate benefits upon starting, paid by the employerCompetitive hourly wage - $50 and up depending on experienceRRSP matching and savings programEmployee fuel discount cardExperienced 24 hr. operations support5 days on 2 days off shift rotation with potential options to change to 8-6 shift rotationOvertime after 8 hours worked. 10-hour day minimum.Company events throughout the year
