We will equip you with tools and a vehicle to perform your job at the highest standard.How you will do itApprentices will be trained and will perform HVAC equipment and controls maintenance and repairs at client sites.Will participate in certified trainings through Service Technical Academy that will build skill sets to provide continued opportunities for advancementThrough coaching and mentorship, apprentices will develop skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and meet customer needsKeep JCI, contractors, and the customer advised of job progress and issues as needed.Meet attendance requirements for required training for first-year.This may be part of the Bargaining UnitWhat we look for (Required)1st-Year HVAC Refrigeration Apprentice (313A) with UA Local 787 or Entry-Level HVAC Mechanic willing to join the union as a 1st-Year Apprentice.Valid ODP/ODS Certification Valid G.2 Certificate (Gas Technician 2)Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computers (i.e. Smartphone, iPad) Adherence to company safety program. Familiarity with HVAC equipment commercial, industrial, or institutional.Ability to perform general building maintenance.Good verbal and written communication skills.Self-starter with the ability to work independently.A valid Full G driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.Willingness to supplement on-the-job training with training provided through the UA Local 787 JTAC and OCOT apprenticeship program.Ability to be on-call as required.This position is open to union and non-union apprentices.Pay Range: 24,75$ hourly rate determined by the CBA/rate sheet.
