The ideal candidate brings a strong background in complex, multi-disciplinary construction projects, excels at managing contractors and consultants, and ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that support critical infrastructure and long-term community growth.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesManage full project lifecycle from planning and procurement through construction, commissioning, and close-out.Lead the coordination of civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines for water/wastewater treatment facilities and related building infrastructure.Oversee contractor performance, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives.Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules, and risk management plans.Administer contracts, manage change orders, and ensure compliance with specifications, regulatory requirements, and municipal standards.Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings, providing clear reporting to internal teams and stakeholders.Resolve technical issues, mitigate risks, and proactively address project challenges.Collaborate with engineering teams, permitting agencies, and municipal partners to support seamless project execution.Ensure construction documentation, submittals, and reports are accurate, complete, and maintained.Qualifications7+ years of progressive experience in construction project management, preferably in water/wastewater facilities, municipal infrastructure, or industrial buildings.Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Civil Technology, or a related discipline work experience.Strong understanding of water/wastewater treatment systems, process equipment, and building infrastructure.Proven experience managing contractors, construction teams, and multi-phase project portfolios.Excellent knowledge of Alberta Building Code, OH&S regulations, and municipal standards.Proficient with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.PMP, CET, or P.Eng designation considered an asset.BenefitsPartner Staffing is Bringing Talent to Business.  With an experienced and dedicated recruitment team, we open doors to opportunities that you may not otherwise know about.  We are specialists in the field of providing high quality individuals to the Oil & Gas sector, Engineering/Procurement/Construction, and Utilities industries.  We look forward to hearing from you and discussing how we might be able to promote your careerWe are always interested in your referrals as well.  We assist recruitment efforts in Environmental, Construction, Operations, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology and AdministrationRequirementsRequirements • Minimum 4 years onsite construction experience • Minimum 3+ years of continuous superintendent or supervisory role experience (in construction field) • Strong working knowledge of current construction methods, drawings, specifications and building codes • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of employment and other designated information • Self-motivated, creative thinking, organized, and efficiency • Excellent Good oral and written communication skills • Ability to effectively manage time, responsibilities and priorities • Demonstrated interpersonal, leadership and team building skills • Level 1 (minimum) First Aid certification and knowledge of (WHMIS) Systems • Budgeting and estimating skills (computer word processing and spreadsheet programs an asset) • Proficient with computers, multifunctional processing units, telephones and faxes • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and skills in data entry • Valid driver's license
