As part of our team, you'll contribute to sustaining this safety-first environment, where speaking up and driving positive change are not just encouraged but expected. Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Supervisor, Millwrights are tasked with the repair and maintenance of on-site structures and equipment.Responsibilities Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and proceduresPreventative maintenance, machinery installation and machine repairRead and interpret blueprints, manuals or millwright process specificationsOperate hoisting and lifting equipmentTroubleshoot production problems and take preventative or corrective actionMaintain a clean, orderly and safe work environmentQualifications Must possess an Interprovincial Journeyperson Millwright red seal trade qualificationIndustrial experience is an assetStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust be willing to work shift workHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid driver’s license Why Join Us? At Teck, we offer more than just a job – we provide a pathway to personal and professional enrichment.
