It’s better here.  What can you expect in this role?Providing support for various governance, regulatory and corporate matters, under the guidance of our General Counsel & Corporate SecretaryCoordinating board, committee and shareholder meetings and materialsAdministration and maintenance of minute books, licensing processes and files, and corporate recordsInteracting with provincial and federal financial institution regulators concerning corporate licensing and related mattersAssisting with SEDAR, SEDI and stock exchange filingsDrafting a variety of corporate documents, including corporate minutes, resolutions, notices, etc.Assisting with preparation of corporate and commercial agreements, including non-disclosure agreements and routine contracts, as well as the completion of corporate transactionsWhat do you bring to the role?Ability to communicate professionally in both verbal and written exchanges with external and internal clients at all levels regarding needs and requestsPropensity to maintain a composed, positive and confident attitude while working in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervisionAbility to work on confidential matters professionally with discretionAbility to manage timelines, adhere to schedules and manage processesA keen attention to detailMinimum 3 years experience as a corporate law clerk within a Canadian financial institution, law firm or public companyExpert knowledge of preparation of corporate minutes and maintenance of minute booksPrevious experience being involved in the corporate secretarial function for a Canadian financial institution, and/or publicly traded company, is highly-desirableHigh degree of proficiency with English and French required to service customers, both internal to the company and external, across Canada. Salary Scale: $58,100 - $106,900 Interested in this role, but don’t meet every requirement? We encourage you to apply We know from experience that a candidate doesn’t need 100% of the qualifications listed to bring incredible value to our team.
