Grocery Manager – Esquimalt

As Grocery Manager at our Esquimalt store, you’ll oversee the daily operations of our grocery department. From managing inventory to creating appealing displays, you’ll ensure an organized, inviting shopping experience for customers. Strong leadership, attention to detail, and excellent customer service are essential. If you’re passionate about food and thrive in a collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you Responsibilities: Team Leadership:Supervise and grocery staff, ensuring efficient workflow, proper training, and adherence to company policies. Team Management: Schedule shifts, hire staff and train new staff on grocery department procedures. Inventory: Maintain proper stock levels, track product movement, and place orders. Merchandising: Create effective product displays to maximize sales. Keep the grocery department clean, organized, and visually appealing. Quality Control: Regularly inspect products to ensure freshness and compliance with health regulations. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and support with product selection and special requests. Financials: Track sales, analyze performance, and contribute to budget planning. Experience with ordering. Skills: Outstanding leadership and customer service skills. Strong communication and leadership skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Product Knowledge: Knowledge of grocery products, pricing, and merchandising. Familiarity with food safety guidelines preferred. Financials: Experience with scheduling, budgets and margins. Availability: Full-time position. Available days, weekends, evenings, weekends. Flexible Schedule.
