Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer Location: Montreal, Quebec Duration: 6 months (3 days onsite) Description We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience in providing VIP support with strong interpersonal skills to effectively handle users. Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop and laptop hardware, mobile devices, and associated peripherals. Adherence to Information Data Security Compliance. Ability to perform onsite updates, configuration changes, software installations, and security patches. Capability to meet PC Refresh Targets and build PCs for new joiners. Ability to meet Service Level Agreements for Incidents and Service Requests. Experience in managing, maintaining, and protecting physical IT assets. Technical support experience for Teams meeting rooms. Strong troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, Windows Operating Systems, and hardware issues. Knowledge of Dell Hardware and basic understanding of servers, network devices, firewalls, and cabling. Proficiency in both English and Canadian French. Willingness to travel to nearby customer locations as necessary. Coordination with offshore teams and third-party vendors for break-fix situations. Flexibility to provide on-call support for critical issues during weekends and after business hours. Participation in regular customer meetings and providing activity reports. Experience required above 10 years. Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience in supporting special events such as conferences. Background in network troubleshooting. Experience in a multicultural and diverse work environment. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Provide onsite technical assistance to authorized users. Ensure smooth technical operations during special events and conferences. Maintain and support Teams meeting room setups.
