What you'll do:


• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach

• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels

• Lead, direct and evolve daily operations of the file maintenance function and team, finding ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

• Develop and standardize procedures for various systems and administrative tasks

• Assist with creating processes for the online website project launching in 2025

• Define processes for inventory management, including packing slips, stock, orders, and claims

• Refine and oversee JD Edwards processes and procedures for all HABS locations

• Lead period end and year end processes.

• Create and maintain item numbers and PLU's

• Collaborate with leaders to set product quantities and min/max guidelines and assist with product forecasting

• Develop standards for various office procedures and file maintenance including end of day, end of period, cash verifications, Moneris gateway

• Manage and maintain price file standards for the HABS business unit locations

• Review weekly and periodic KPI reports and communicate with leadership ex. margins, errors, discrepancies, negative quantity on hand etc.

• Manage, code, and report inventory adjustments and movements

• Manage customer and contractor price files for Building Materials, Outdoor, and Pro Tackle

• Manage, track, and audit processes and programs set by leadership such as Rock Your Reno, Spring into Summer, etc.

• Maintain and manage all point-of-sale daily functions and support all locations with system issues

• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of products and services offered by each Home Centre location

• Adhere to the Safety Management and Asset Protection systems, policies, procedures, records, and training requirements and lead this program by example

• Perform other duties as assigned

Who you will work with:

The Team: Reporting to the Homes by Lake Country Site Team Leader, you will collaborate with a team of professionals including the sales, estimating, construction, installation and building materials leaders on this fun and passionate team to cultivate a culture of collaboration and customer focus.

Who you are:
You are looking for a Career in Home and Building Solutions and Customer Service and:

• You have 3 years of supervisory experience in a file maintenance setting; a business Diploma is an asset

• You are experienced in leading a file maintenance function and team with a customer focused approach

• You possess a large knowledge in the use of point-of-sale systems including back-office procedures

• You are well organized and can work independently, or as part of a team in a demanding environment with minimal supervision

• You are proficient in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe, and are able to adapt to new technology and systems; experience with Mi9 is an asset

• You can manage computer files and records efficiently

• You work well under pressure and are savvy with balancing and meeting multiple strict deadlines

• You possess strong oral and written communication skills and communicate effectively using multiple communication channels

• You are goals driven, attentive to detail, and hold precision and accuracy as core values

• You are available to work a flexible schedule; some evenings and weekends are required

• You are willing to travel periodically for short periods of time to visit sites and training events

• A valid driver's licence (class 5 minimum) is required
